What is Circuit?

Circuit is Doers' approach to coordinating AI-assisted development. It combines project instructions, working practices, and technical checks adapted to the client's environment. It is not sold as a hosted software subscription.

Can we keep our current tools?

Where they meet the project's requirements. We assess the repositories, AI providers, delivery tools, and controls already in use before recommending changes.

Where do code and project records live?

The intended setup uses client-controlled systems, without a mandatory Doers-hosted runtime. Provider access, data handling, retention, and responsibilities are agreed before implementation.

What requires human approval?

People retain responsibility for product direction, sensitive access, production data, security, and release decisions. The permissions for AI-assisted work are defined for the environment rather than assumed from the tool's capabilities.

Does every task need the same review?

No. Review should reflect the consequence of a mistake. A small, reversible text change does not need the same process as a change to payments or shared data.

What is handed over?

The agreed project instructions, checks, working practices, and documentation needed for the client team to maintain the setup. The exact deliverables and responsibilities are defined for the engagement.
